The Vale is a demiplane within Khyber that operates under a separate rules for reality than Eberron.

The sun that illuminates the Vale rests in a fixed location, and cycles between various colors and hues over time. The light of the sun grants the inhabitants of the realm physical immortality as it twists them into Aberrations and drives them mad.

The Vale is connected to Eberron at various times through shifting passages in the Forêt du Roi of Brelande, the Bastions de la Nation, and the Frontières de l'Ombre.
