}}Nouveau-trône, a large port city on the Whitecliff River, is the capital of Q'Barra. Nouveau-trône is the seat of government for Q'barra, Néo-Galifar, and the home to King Sebastes du Kesslan. It is a heavily fortified city, since it has been a target of attack from Homme-Lézard, Lhazaar pirates, and Valénar Elfes.
When the Dernière Guerre splintered the Royaume de Galifar into the Cinq Nations, Duke du Kesslan was applied for and was granted the lands beyond the Montagnes de la Fin Du Monde that the Lhazaar called Q'barra. The Duke's settlers founded the cities of Adder Bay and Nouveau-trône.
Since its founding, Nouveau-trône has seen its share of attacks by the Valénar, the Homme-lézards, the Lhazaar, and the Draconien. Even with those attacks, Nouveau-trône grew. Nouveau-trône has been built in the architectural style of old Galifar, and has attracted the various Maisons Marquées Du Dragon, which have established enclaves in the city. The largest enclave is Maison Tharashk, run by opportunist Khalar Velderan de Tharashk. Khalar runs his dragonshard mining operations out of Nouveau-trône.
Nouveau-trône is also the host to various Lhazaar baronies and Riedran merchants seeking trade with Q'barra. The Riedrans even possess a small ward of the city, where only Riedrans and Inspiré are allowed to enter.
Newthrone (Large City, 23,260): A port city on the mouth of the Whitecliff River, where the river empties into Adder Bay, Newthrone is the largest city in Q’barra. It is also the seat of government for King Sebastes ir’Kesslan and the community of Néo-Galifar. Like all Néo-Galifar communities, Newthrone is heavily fortified; over the past thirty years, it has repelled multiple attacks by Lhazaar pirates and the lizardfolk of the Cold Sun Tribes. While the city contains outposts devoted to many of the dragonmarked houses, more travelers and merchants hail from the Lhazaar Principalities and Riedra than from the inland nations of Khorvaire. Although not as grand and full of history as the great cities of the Five Nations, Newthrone has been built to replicate the architecture of old Galifar. In some ways, it looks like a small portion of Cyre or Breland has been picked up, polished, and dropped in the Q’barran jungle.
