Kotharel the Harvester is a Idole Rayonnante, a fallen angel cast out from the plane of Syranie. After “harvesting” souls for 23 years, Kotharel was brought down by the knights of Dol Arrah and sentenced to Fort-Terreur prison.

Once an angel of Syranie, Kotharel was cast out by the host in the year 710 AR. Banished to eberron, Kotharel became the sElfee-stylized “harvester of souls.” Seeing himself as the right hand of Le Geolier, Kotharel Inspiré a cult that lasted for 23 years. He and his cult would “harvest” the souls of innocents, sending them to Le Geolier. In the year 733 AR, the knights of Dol Arrah tracked Kotharel to Metrol in Cyre. The knights defeated Kotharel's cult, but could not kill the immortal enemy. The knights brought Kotharel to Fort-Terreur prison, an inescapable prison run by Maison Kundarak. They placed Kotharel in the Deep Ward, a portion of Fort-Terreur with a permanent anti-magic field. Kotharel sits in Fort-Terreur to this day.

Kotharel possesses all the abilities of a Idole Rayonnante, but he is much stronger than others of his kind. Unlike others of equal power, though, Kotharel is still size Large, not size Huge. Because of his loyalty to Le Geolier, any weapon wielded by Kotharel becomes a keeper_s_fang.
