Age Immortel

Masvirik, le Froid Soleil is an Overlord from the Âge des Démons with dominion over reptilian creatures, that is mostly forgotten by those outside of the Homme-Lézard tribes of the Masvirik'Uala.

Histoire

Masvirik is an entity that once claimed dominion over modern-day Q'Barra that is all but forgotten in modern times outside of the dreams of Homme-Lézard and the plagued mind of Rhashaak, its once guardian and now corrupted voice.

In the Âge des Démons, Masvirik dominated the Homme-Lézard and other scaly creatures of the region from his throne in the city of Haka'torvhak.

Three thousand years after Rhashaak's watch first began, Masvirik escaped his bonds and warped his guardian Rhashaak to exert its will over the region once again. Fragments d'Eberron housing the scattered shards of his essence flared, and awakened ancient dreams in the Homme-Lézard. This along with the return of the Draconien descendants of the legions of the original members of the Lumière de Siberys, long-since spread out across the lands of eastern Khorvaire under dreams of conquest, helped seal Masvirik within its prison.

Masvirik has some followers among the Les Seigneurs Des Cendres, but maintains no prakhutu on the Conseil Sombre.

Appearance & Personality

Masvirik's appearance is unknown. He maintains a bond with his guardian and chosen servant, the dragon-god Rhashaak.

Masvirik is considered cousin to Tiamat, and they may clash over portfolio. Masvirik has dominion over scaly, venomous creatures that slither and crawl.

Capacités

Masvirik is said to have the ability to warp Homme-Lézard into creatures like the Kobolds and Troglodytes to serve as servants to his will.

Notes

Masvirik may bear some resemblance to the serpent deity Zehir from 4th edition Core D&D, including a potential rivalry with Tiamat, a fellow Overlord with dominion over Dragons.

Keith Baker has suggested on his website that Rhashaak may be a puppet to the fully cognizant Overlord, a mad Dragon beset by delusions of grandeur believing himself to be a god, a tortured guardian aware of its fallen state seeking absolution, or any combination of these or others.
