Tal Esk

Inland from the Sea of Perdu Souls and south of Dar Qat the village of Tal Esk is another outpost of the Empire of Riedra within Xen'Drik. The village is located along the Crystal Wastes of The Scimitar Spires.

Mining and refining crystal from the wastes that will be shipped back to Sarlona via Dar Qat is the principal business within the village.

Tal Esk (Hamlet, Population 120): This is a large Riedran settlement on the edge of one of the crystal wastes. The people of Tal Esk quarry and prepare blocks of crystal for travel, gathering dragonshards uncovered in the process. They are unfriendly to strangers and actively hostile to kalashtar. However, a skilled diplomat who speaks the Riedran tongue might be able to fi nd shelter at Tal Esk.
