Regent Moranna du Wynarn is the chief adviser for her nephew Roi Kaius 'du Wynarn III, the current king of Karrnath. After the unexpected death of King Jaron, she ruled Karrnath as regent from 973-990 AR until Kaius III came of age to take the throne. Her most notable action as regent was in 976 AR, when she dissolved and outlawed the Ordre de la Griffe d'Émeraude, continuing the crown's rejection of the le_sang_de_vol

Moranna is also known to have to have some talent for necromancy, and many in Karrnath suspect that it is responsible for her pale complexion.
