The current caretaker of [[:the_pool_of_onatars_tears|The Pool of Onatar’s Tears]] is actually a Guerrier de Fer—one of the few Guerrier de Fer priests on Khorvaire. Smith served in the La Dernière Guerre; along the way he developed a deep faith in Onatar, who he believes guided Humainity to create the Guerrier de Fer race. Smith believes that the god has a plan for the Guerrier de Fer, and he has done his best to get other members of the Guerrier de Fer community to embrace his vision. Smith is deeply opposed the violent ideology of the Seigneur des Lames, and firmly believes that the Guerrier de Fer and the creatures of flesh are meant to live together.
