She has traveled the continents and the planes in search of ultimate power. Her children, the :filles_de_sora_kell, are the current rulers of the monster nation :droaam. ====== Histoire ====== Sora Kell is said to be one of the most powerful night Sorcières in all history; however, even history is confused as to her origins. Hundreds of legends exist about Sora Kell, some directly contradicting others; in some she is a fierce :magicien, while in others she rends whole armies with her claws. Sora Kell is said to have traveled across the continents, and visited plane after plane in search of the ultimate mystical knowledge. Some rumors say she is an agent of :channel_divinity_the_traveler, while others propose she actually is Le Voyageur. At some point, Sora Kell gave birth to three :sorciere daughters: a green Sorcière named Sora Katra, an annis Sorcière named Sora Maenya, and a dusk Sorcière named Sora Teraza. No one knows their father or fathers, though their Demi-démonish traits reveal him to be a :demon, :diable, or :rakshasa. There have been no confirmed sightings of Sora Kell within the last century. Her current fate is unknown: some say she is content to watch her daughters come into greatness on their own, others say she is hidden away, working on a great spell to shake the world; while others say she is trapped on another plane of existence, trying to free hersElfee. **Sora Kell, the Queen of the Night** Along with the rakshasas, the night Sorcières were the first children of Khyber, born in the Premier Âge of the world. But the night Sorcières are far fewer in number, and they are secretive creatures who haunt waste and dream. One of the few who has become known in legends is the dreadful Sora Kell, mother to the Sorcières of Droaam. Hundreds of legends of Sora Kell exist, and many directly contradict one another. In one story she seems to be a wizard with epic powers, while in another she destroys an army with only her claws. Sora Kell is best known as a wanderer, traveling across the world and the myriad planes in search of mystical knowledge, which she may take by force or cunning. Some say that she is aligned with Le Voyageur, and a few believe that she IS Le Voyageur – or at least, that many of the tales of Le Voyageur actually describe the exploits of the Sorcière. Regardless of her personal abilities, Sora Kell could be the source of almost any spell or magic object; her lairs are hidden across the planes, and most contains racks of scrolls and libraries of ancient spells, along with maps of forgotten ruins and lore about the mysteries of the multiverse. Despite the many tales she has spawned, there has been no confirmed sighting of Sora Kell for over a century. Perhaps she has set a task before her daughters and is content to watch events unfold. Maybe she is trapped in another plane or working on a spell that could shake the foundations of the world. But whether the Sorcière ever returns, her secret troves are hidden across the world, waiting to be found. SORA KELL, THE QU EEN OF THE NIGHT A mysterious figure who appears in lofty myths and children's fab les, Sora Kell extends her reach across the world and through the myriad planes, claiming mystical knowledge by force and cunning. A mighty wizard with magic worthy of epic tales, she is a monster whose CHAPTER 1 I CHARACTER CREATION adamantine claws can ftense whole armies before any soldier can land a blow on her plated hide. Ta les of Sora Kell claim she is the first night Sorcière, born from Khyber in the Premier Âge of the world alongside the ancient rakshasas. Some even claim that her daughters-the Sorcières who rule Droaam-are either direct agents of her will or have trapped her and pursue their own goals. One fact is indisputable: Sora Kell is an immortal being who employs mortals to do her bidding. In exchange, she trades lore from her boundless stores of magic items, racks of scrolls, libraries of ancient spells, maps of forgotten ruins, and tomes unvei ling the mysteries of the multiverse, which she has secreted away in caches across the planes. Appearances. Unlike some other immortal patrons, Sora Kell's physical form has not been seen on Eberron for over a century. Perhaps she has set a task before her daughters and watches events unfold. Maybe she is trapped upon another plane of existence or is devising magic that could shake the foundations of existence. In any case, she appears in the dreams of her agents, or occasionally uses magical means to communicate, sometimes direct ly, other times through sinister omens. Allies. As a creature of legend, Sora Kell can hardly be said to have allies, except for a handful of other legends like the following groups: Filles De Sora Kell. Sora Kell's three daughtersthe gifted oracle Sora Te raza, the cunning trickster Sora Katra, and the vicious monster Sora Maenyarule the nation of Droaam, either to facilitate their own scheming or at their mother's command. Adventurers who enjoy the patronage of Sora Kell can impose on her daughters for aid if they should ever find themselves in or near Droaam. They can also count on the aid of Daask, a criminal gang in Sham, which is controlled by Sora Katra. Seigneurs Des Cendres. Ancient fiends number among Sora Kell's allies-not the least of which are her daughters' three long-forgotten fathers. It isn't for Sora Kell's pawns to know which of the powerful villains are friendly to Sora Kell, but she occasionally sends adventurers to lend aid to rakshasas -often lesser fiends working to free the ancient Maîtres Démoniaques. Wise adventurers carefully weigh the rewards of working with such fiends against the costs-to themselves and the world. En emies. Like most immortal beings, Sora Kell has many enemies, though the mortal ones barely merit her attention. For the most part, only beings like those that follow dare oppose Sora Kell: The Rêve Obscur. In Sora Kell's estimation, the greatest threat to her are the quori of Dal Quor, and their minions, the Rêve Obscur. Fortunately for the adventurers that serve Sora Kell, few mortals register as worthy foes in the alien minds of the quori. Seigneurs Des Cendres. Sora Kell has allies among the Lords of Dust, but she also has bitter rivals. Like the quori, these fiends rarely pay much attention to Sora Kell's mortal minions, but they aren't above harming mortal adventurers just to spite her.
