**Le Capitaine** of the [[Crimson Ship]] is a mysterious figure who plies the seas of the various {{tagpage>"Plans"|planes}} and realms of [[Eberron]] and [[khyber_trefonds_obscurs|Khyber]] aboard his legendary vessel.

The history of Le Capitaine is unknown.

Le Capitaine appears to have some connection to oracular forces.

====== Appearance & Personality ======
Le Capitaine appears as a typical [[ultroloth]], a slim six-foot tall dark-skinned figure with a bald head and glowing amber eyes. He plays a game of [[Conquérant]] against an unknown, remote opponent, who may constrain his actions.

Unlike other yugoloths, Le Capitaine does not give off an aura of evil.

Aboard his warship, the dromond called the Crimson Ship, Le Capitaine can take his passengers to any location on the known worlds of [[Eberron]]. He will usually extract some bargain for this service, such as a  battle.

I didn’t work on the [[Explorer's Handbook (book) | Explorer's Handbook]], so I don’t know what the creator of the Crimson Ship had in mind. Given that he’s tooling around the Plan Matériel and at least appears to have a Neutre alignment, it seems likely that he’s some form of rogue; on the other hand, the apparent neutral alignment could be a deception, and his assistance or demands could be calculated to cause despair or loss.}}
