+====== Shadukar ======

 +**Shadukar**, the "Jewel of the Sound", was once a beautiful city Belvédèreing Passage de la côte and bounded to the south by what is now called the Forêt Brulée. The city was captured and subsequently destroyed in 961 AR by an invading coalition force of Cyran and Karrnathi armies. Strategically pulling back from the city, the invaders locked its gates and set the city ablaze killing its inhabitants. More than 7000 Thranes died that day.
 +
 +The city was never rebuilt and most Thranes consider the place cursed. The Église de la Flamme d'Argent sent classe:clercs in to cleanse the place, but the Mort-vivant there exacted a heavy toll, and the ruins have been abandoned since, except by foolhardy adventurers and desperate fugitives.
 +
 +://"The gray walls of Shadukar were visible for several miles, situated atop an escarpment that formed the base of what locals called "The Arrow", a low-lying spit of land jutting north into Passage de la côte. The bulk of the city itself had been built into the side of the bluff, looking morth toward Fort-de-la-Flamme and fort-du-trone. But over the years the population had outgrown the stony confines of the scarp, and buildings had sprouted at the top of the cliffs. Eventually, Upper Shadukar had become a city in its own right, and walls had been erected to protect the affluent neighborhoods located there. From this distance, the only things that marked the shattered Jewel of the Sound as a ruin were the lack of movement atop those walls and the eerie quiet that hung over them."//

 +=====Rumors=====
 +A Loup-Garou named Quillion, who survived the inquisition of the Flamme d'Argent during the Purge, may live among the ruins of Shadukar.
 +
 +Ruined City, Population 0
 +Once called the Jewel of the Sound, Shadukar is now
 +a scorched ruin built into the side of a rocky shElfee
 +looking north toward Fort-du-trône. Many Thranes
 +believe the ruins are haunted.
 +Karrnathi soldiers stormed the city of Shadukar
 +in 959 AR. The city’s defenders were not expecting a
 +Karrn attack from Cyre, especially one accomplished
 +using Bois-Flottant skiffs that could glide across the Brey
 +River. The Karrnathi troops took control of the city
 +in a matter of hours and held the city hostage for two
 +years. During that time, they looted and pillaged what
 +they could. They let Thranes die of famine and massacred entire families. They animated dead Karrns and
 +Thranes to reinforce their dwindling ranks.
 +Thrane forces from Fort-de-la-Flamme laid siege to the
 +city, but they couldn’t punch through its defenses. In
 +961 AR, the Karrns fi nally withdrew, burning the city
 +to the ground as they left. The Knights of Thrane and
 +their cleric allies were able to destroy the remaining
 +Mort-vivant and rid the city of its Karrnathi stench. However, the damage and loss of life was staggering.
 +Ask any Thrane about Shadukar, and he’ll tell you
 +it’s a cursed ruin ruled by ghosts.
