 +
+Moonwatch is a port town at the junction of a caravan route to [[Galethspyre]] when the [[Fleuve de la Dague]] is impassible. The Brelon Navy has presence here, to help to keep the waterways safe from pirates.  Being the opposite side of the hilt from [[Sharn]], it's a reputation for being a good place to move unethical cargo since it's away of eyes of the Watch.
 +
+Moonwatch gets it's name from a magic effect centered around the nearby hill of ruins, an Outpost of Géants, from long long ago.  Within 12 miles of the structure, the 12 Lunes and the [[Anneau de Siberys]] appear to be approx twenty times larger than normal. No adventurers have yet ever gone into the warrens under the Géant's Outpost and returned with the reason for the effect, most do not return at all.
 +
+The Wizards of [[Arcanix]] and scholars from [[Université Morgrave]] maintain rival observatories near the ruins, as well as dabbling amateurs, to better view the Lunes and make observations. [[Maison Tharashk]] maintains viewing stations to track where Fragments de Dragon fall. Agents of the [[Gardiens]] look for signs of deadly planar convergences.
+Alas the constant intermittent fogs, makes the area less than reliable as other locations. But when conditions line up, great things are seen.
